Good Cocodona Training: - Slow pace, low intensity - Hot, sunny, and dry (80+ F) - Rocky trails (< 50% runnable) - Tired legs (60+ miles in the last two days) - Too far without water supply (the creek was dry) I'm really happy the Cocodona course changed and is no longer going up the powerline road, Casner Mountain "Trail". One time is enough for a lifetime and at least I was getting paid to do it that time. Such a contrast from the trails in Sedona, no one out there and maybe 3-4 different shoe prints since the rain 4-5 days ago.
